Things that will affect your house cleaning estimate include the size of your home, number of residents, number of pets, number of bathrooms, how often you want our maids to clean, etc. We have a standardized formula for calculating each individual cleaning estimate in a uniform way.

The first house cleaning visit usually costs more than future visits, as it takes additional time to bring your home up to Maid Brigade standards. This initial cleaning is billed hourly, with your estimate expressed as a cost range. If more time is needed, we’ll contact you for approval.

After the first visit, your home’s cleanliness can be easily maintained with regular flat-fee visits. You’ll receive estimates for both the initial and recurring cleanings up front, and your regular price will be confirmed once the first cleaning is complete.

Maid Brigade guarantees a specific day for your cleaning but not an exact time, as our schedule can vary. If you call on the day of service, we’ll gladly provide an estimated arrival window. For situations requiring a set time, contact your local office—we’ll do our best to find a solution that works for you.

Simply call our office prior to your cleaning day. Most of our maid service offices require advance notification to reschedule your house cleaning.

Please be sure you understand your local Maid Brigade’s procedures for rescheduling and cancelling visits. We do have a cancellation policy and will assess a cancellation fee if necessary, although we want to help you avoid incurring these fees!

Please advise us if you have pets and provide any information regarding your pets that would be helpful for us to know. Though not a requirement, we prefer pets to be restricted from the areas we clean, so our maids can clean your home better and more efficiently.

If you have any special valuables, heirlooms or irreplaceable items, please put them away or instruct us not to touch them. A closed door or drawer is your signal to us that you do not want our maids to clean that area. Maid Brigade carries all the necessary insurances in the event that any damage occurs.
