The state of my home would be very different without an electric mop. For as long as I’ve been a mom and a pet owner—that is, almost my entire adult life—time has been at a minimum and mess has been at a maximum. As a result, mopping quickly became one of my least favorite chores.
Now, with an electric mop in my arsenal, I actually don’t mind it. As Robin Murphy, chief cleaning officer at Maid Brigade, says, “[Electric mops] do the scrubbing for you—you just guide it and let it glide over the floor. It’s faster, easier, and uses less water than a traditional mop.”
For these reasons, electric mops are becoming more and more popular, which is why we put top-rated models to the test to discover the ones that truly excel against the rest of the competition.
