Everything You Need to Know About Our Services

How Much Does House Cleaning Cost?

Most recurring house cleanings fall in the $200–$350 per-visit range. Pricing depends on the size of your home, how often you’d like us to come, and how long it takes to get it genuinely clean.

The first visit is typically higher because it’s more detailed (and takes more time).

One-time cleanings are billed hourly and are typically more expensive than recurring visits, since it usually takes more time because we are doing more detailed, catch-up work.

Call or submit a  request online and we will send a clear, detailed quote so you know exactly what to expect.

Do I Need to Provide House Cleaning Products or Equipment?

Yes— for most visits, we bring everything we need. That includes professional-grade HEPA-filter vacuums and our PUREcleaning system, which is non-toxic and effective for the vast majority of homes.

If there’s a surface or situation that requires a stronger or specialty product than we typically use, please let us know ahead of time. We’ll confirm whether we can provide what’s needed or whether you should supply it.

One example: we do not provide oven cleaner. If you’d like the inside of the oven cleaned, we’ll let you know how to prepare your oven (and whether you should supply the product) before your visit.

Will I Have the Same Cleaner Each Time?

We work hard to keep your cleaning team consistent. Most homes are cleaned by a team of two or three so they can get to know your home, your preferences, and the little details that matter.

That said, there are times we may need to adjust the lineup—vacation, illness, or an appointment happens. If that ever affects your visit, you can still feel confident: every team member is trained the same way and follows the same detailed cleaning system, so your home gets the same thoughtful, reliable care each time.

How Do I Schedule a Service?

We typically book service with a quick phone call so we can understand your needs and give you clear pricing. To reserve your date, we take a non-refundable deposit. Need to change the date? No problem—give at least two business days’ notice and we’ll move the deposit to your new appointment.

Do I Need to Be Home During the Cleaning?

You don’t need to be home during the cleaning—most of our customers aren’t. Many provide a key or door code so we can clean while they’re at work or out and about. If you prefer to be home, that’s great too. Either way, our goal is to make the process simple, secure, and stress-free.

What happens if I skip or reschedule a visit? Is there a skip fee?

As long as you give us at least two business days’ notice, we do not charge a skip fee.

 

However, when you skip or reschedule and it creates a longer gap between cleanings, your price automatically adjusts to reflect the number of weeks between visits.

 

For example: if you’re on an every-two-week schedule and you skip a visit, your next cleaning will be billed at the every-four-week rate (typically about 10% more per additional week between visits, which would make that visit about 20% higher than your usual biweekly price).

 

The same applies if you reschedule and it results in a longer gap.

 

The good news? The pricing works both ways. If you move to more frequent service, your rate adjusts downward to reflect that lower frequency pricing.

Yes. Our PUREcleaning system is safe for people, pets, and the planet. It cleans and disinfects without harsh chemicals or strong fragrances, leaving your home fresh, healthy, and truly clean.

Do You Guarantee Your Work?

If something isn’t right, tell us. We’ll make it right, whether that means a re-clean, updated notes for next time, or another solution (including a refund). We stand behind every visit

Do You Guarantee a Time for My Appointment?

We guarantees the day of your cleaning, and we typically schedule arrivals in 2-hour windows. The day before your visit, we’ll text you to confirm your arrival window, and on the day of service we’ll text you again when your team is on the way.

What If I Accidentally Lock Maid Brigade Out on My Cleaning Day?

If we arrive for your cleaning and can’t get in (a “lockout”), the visit is charged in full.

Here’s why: your team has already been scheduled, traveled to your home, and reserved that time on their route—so we’re unable to replace the appointment at the last minute without impacting their pay and the rest of the day’s schedule.

To help prevent lockouts, most clients choose one of these easy options:

  • Leave a key or door code on file
  • Hide a key in an agreed-upon spot
  • Be home (or have someone available) at the scheduled arrival window
What Should I Do About My Security/Alarm System on House Cleaning Day?

If you have a security or alarm system, please make arrangements so our team can access your home on the scheduled cleaning day. Many clients set up a guest or temporary code for Maid Brigade to make entry easy and secure.

What Should I Do With My Pets During the Cleaning?

We love pets—they’re welcome during your cleaning. Let us know they’ll be home and share any “house rules” (doors to keep closed, shy pets, escape artists, etc.). We’ll work around them and follow your routine so everyone stays safe and comfortable while we clean.
