How Much Does House Cleaning Cost?

It depends on your home’s size, how often you’d like us to come, and how much time it takes to get everything just right. Most recurring cleanings range from $200–$350 per visit, with the first one priced a bit higher. One-time cleanings are billed hourly. We’ll always share a detailed quote before we start so there are no surprises—just a beautifully clean home waiting for you.

Do I Need to Provide House Cleaning Products or Equipment?

Yes! We bring everything needed to clean your home safely and thoroughly—from professional-grade HEPA-filter vacuums to our PUREcleaning system, which is safe for people, pets, and the planet, and powerful enough to leave your home spotless.

Will I Have the Same Cleaner Each Time?

Our cleaning teams usually include two or three people, and we keep them as consistent as possible so they can get to know your preferences and deliver a reliable, detailed clean every time. If scheduling ever requires a change, you can be confident that every team member is trained to the same high standards and follows the same detailed cleaning process, so your home always receives the same level of care.

Do I Need to Be Home During the Cleaning?

You don’t need to be home during the cleaning—most of our customers aren’t. Many provide a key or door code so we can clean while they’re at work or out and about. If you prefer to be home, that’s perfectly fine too. Either way, our goal is to make the process simple, secure, and stress-free.

What’s Your Skip or Rescheduling Policy?

If you need to reschedule or skip a visit, please give at least two business days’ notice to avoid being charged in full. When a visit is skipped, your next cleaning adjusts to the new frequency—for example, if you normally have service every two weeks and skip a visit, your next cleaning is billed at the every-four-week rate.

 

Each appointment reserves time just for you—much like a ticketed event—so last-minute changes can’t be reassigned. And if we ever have an emergency and can’t make it (rare, but it’s happened, like when a tree fell on one of our cars), your next cleaning is on us.

Are Your Products Safe for Kids and Pets?

Yes. Our PUREcleaning system is safe for people, pets, and the planet. It cleans and disinfects without harsh chemicals or strong fragrances, leaving your home fresh, healthy, and truly clean.

Do You Guarantee Your Work?

Yes, every cleaning is backed by our Happiness Guarantee. If something isn’t quite right, let us know and we’ll make it right with no hassle or stress, whether that means coming back, noting it for next time, or offering a credit.

Do You Guarantee a Time for My Appointment?

Maid Brigade guarantees a specific day for your cleaning but not an exact time, as our schedule can vary. If you call on the day of service, we’ll gladly provide an estimated arrival window. For situations requiring a set time, contact your local office—we’ll do our best to find a solution that works for you.

What If I Accidentally Lock Maid Brigade Out on My Cleaning Day?

Just like rescheduling fees, lock-outs on cleaning day may incur a fee. Please check your local Maid Brigade’s lock-out policy to avoid extra charges. What Should I Do About My Security/Alarm System on House Cleaning Day?

If you have a security or alarm system, please make arrangements so our team can access your home on the scheduled cleaning day. Many clients set up a guest or temporary code for Maid Brigade to make entry easy and secure.

What Should I Do With My Pets During the Cleaning?

Please advise us if you have pets and provide any information regarding your pets that would be helpful for us to know. Though not a requirement, we prefer pets to be restricted from the areas we clean, so our team can clean your home better and more efficiently.
